- Update on Exodus - Development Resumes This Week! - 9 April 2019
Hello Everybody! It's been a long time since Dave and I have posted an update regarding the development of Exodus, we both went on a bit of a hiatus when we went off to separate colleges (and timezones). Dave is currently working on a degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin while I've been extremely busy working on a Mechatronics Engineering Degree at UNC Asheville. Anyway, development ended up being put on a brief hold while we dealt with loads of coursework and the college lifestyle in general. But, summer is just around the corner, and we have no intent to abandon this game. Many people have been concerned with the game being dead, and it may have seemed that way for the past few months, but I am happy to announce that development will resume this week!!!. - Exodus is in its first Early Access Release this morning! - 20 August 2018
Exodus has just been released into early access in its first build! After a minor patch this morning to resolve some of the bugs we found in the comments, Exodus is now available to play. Currently, our plan is to release updates on a regular basis, at least once a month, with small patches in between. We have a lot of ideas we want to implement in this game, and we need your input to be able to do so! At the beginning of September, we will be adding in: - A "Load Game" button on the home screen - Full Saving and Loading Mechanics - .GIF Tutorials Please feel free to leave any bugs you find in the discussions boards. - Exodus Launches in 6 days! - 14 August 2018
Hello! It's been quite a journey for Dave and I since we began development on Exodus in April. We are both extremely excited for the 20th as that day will mark the beginning of our joint venture into publishing on Steam and bringing Exodus to life. I've been working as a Unity developer for over six years, with four of those belonging to my Steam development endeavors. I'll be handling all of the coding, scene setup, core gameplay and basically anything Unity related until our team grows. As for my friend, Dave is a seasoned 3D designer, so he is responsible for nearly all of the 3d work you'll see in the first build and will be tackling any future 3d work on the project.
