Welcome back arctic survivors. We have completed the majority of the pristine lake map. Today, we share with you a few in-game snapshots and video clips of our work in progress. FRIGID - Stage 2 Infection Ursidae (Bear) As you may already know, climate change has melted the arctic glaciers by 75%. This has caused a cascade of events in the ecosystems nearby, resulting in a devastating outcome for the wildlife in the area. These creatures tend to lurk around and in the pristine lake region. Further study of the Stage 2 Infected Polar bear reveals remarkable changes to the animals anatomy. Stage 2 Infection consists of alien extremities coming out from under skin lesions all over the body. When the creature approaches its victim, these appendages rip out from the original host and attack their victims with extreme force. These changes in anatomy signify Stage 2 Infection. Welcome survivors. Today, we introduce our next infected creature in Frigid. The Vulpes (Fox) Stage 1 Infection. We are receiving multiple reports just in. Packs of Infected Foxes are scavenging around the lake area. They are extremely fast and intelligent, working together to quickly overwhelm their prey with speed. If you hear them in the distance, it may already be to late, unless you can get to nearby shelter. Local Hunters are warning you not to engage with firearms. It is nearly impossible to hit these creatures with their current mobility and speed. If you can spot them in the distance with a sniper you have the advantage, or simply use gas and fire as they come running for you, it may be your last chance. The usual symptoms of the infection are present, although the foxes, smaller in size compared to the other animals have greatly increased their short term cardiovascular carbon…

Welcome survivors. Today, we introduce our next infected creature in Frigid. The Ursidae (Bear) Stage 1 Infection. Local residents are reporting an unusual amount of infected bears in the area. These animals are now scavenging on local property, creating a potentially dangerous situation. The local hunter's have taken it upon themselves to control the situation and are currently hunting them down. What is even more concerning, is that these infected bears are producing extreme lacerations coming from the infected lesions on their skin. They seem to be ripping apart, at the muscle level, this is scientifically impossible! We need more time to determine the severity of the infection. Furthermore, locals tell us clues of how the animals vocal sounds may have been affected. They report the sounds the bears make are practically unbearable. Welcome survivors. Today, we introduce our next infected creature in Frigid. The Cervidae (Deer) Stage 1 Infection. The Deer of Pristine Lake have been spotted with Stage 1 infection. The situation is escalating. These animals are shedding their skin membrane and revealing internal rib cage and other skeletal bones. Its only a matter of time before they either decay or turn into Stage 2 infection. What is remarkable of this change in physiology is only matched by there newly acquired galloping speed. These deer's can close a distance faster then the wolves previously mentioned. They look erie and unnatural as they come charging for you. Thankfully our Marksmen has kept us safe so far. Its been awhile since the last update. We decided to release another smaller update before the Resort Strip Update due to delays in development. This update includes... Today we bring you new wildlife in the frigid demo. This includes Squirrels, Rabbits, and Eagles. RABBITS / SQUIRRELS We have added rabbits and squirrels into the game to bring more atmosphere and realism to the environment. In the video, you can see cute little rabbits and squirrels running around. They move around the environment looking for food. If they spot the player they will flee. They are incredibly hard to capture. If you are able to kill one, you can harvest the meat for some extra protein. If you can afford some patients you can observe their behavior patterns and take advantage of this to successfully kill the animals for food or resources provided you have a tool or weapon to do so.
