- Engine Upgrade / Complete Rewrite - 9 April 2024
Hello Gundy Players, This is a preliminary update, which includes the following: - Game Engine upgraded from 3.x to 4.x (major rewrite of the entire game in the engine) - Boss fight has been balanced: - Boss fight room on Level 1 has been expanded - Boss animations have been polished - Snakes have been balanced: - Snakes are a bit trickier now and provide an ample challenge Speed run timer is still in place, and speedrun times will need to be reset on speedrun.com Therefore the version of Gundy was bumped from 1.x to 2.x to support the new engine and slightly altered level 1. Look out for another bigger update announcement soon, where I'm adding more levels & content! I hope you enjoy

Hello Gundiers. Its v1.0.7, just a quick minor update. Fixed the game where you can now un-pause with keybind/controller. There was an odd delay block of code that needed to be written. - v1.0.4 Controller Support (+ Quick Reset) - 4 January 2023
Hello again, This is a quick update, as I wanted some quality of life improvements in the game. To start, I wanted to be able to play with controller. I've enabled both joystick and D-Pad controls, but I'd recommend the D-Pad! The speed running has been far too much fun, but the restarting of the game between runs, stinks. So I've added a Quick Reset function. To Quick Reset, just press Control or R3 / "Click right stick". Hello all! It's been a while, but this update is really short and sweet. I've updated the timer in the game to match the "format" used by Speedrun.com Why? (one may ask) Well our co-owner, Dr.Evil1200 (on Discord) added Gundy to speedrun.com for all to enjoy! We've both submitted times, and have already been beaten... - Added version number to main menu (to help users report issues with version of the game) - Added the ability to reach the spawn area (in order to 100% the game, and kill the top snake) - Added ability to restart the game on the pause screen - Added ability to restart the game or "Play again" on the you win screen - Made the generator easier to understand, it now only takes 2 hits and goes from Green to Yellow to Red - Added a Speedrun timer! (My time is 1:40.9 probably easily beaten but hey its the first score!)

User's reported an issue where when paused or when you win or die, in most of these cases the layering is wrong. Showing the pause screen underneath. This has been fixed.
