  • Announcing my new open world physics game - 13 September 2021

My newest project is called Mars First Logistics and it’s about delivering lots of awkwardly shaped cargo across a rugged open world using your own mechanical creations! I’ve been enjoying the process of making this game. Instead of designing individual levels or puzzles, I’m making a set of toys and seeing what they’re like to play with in the game world, finding and exploring interesting interactions, with just enough direction so the player doesn’t feel lost. The game’s graphics are inspired by Lego instruction manuals. The simple black outlines and flat primary colours have a simultaneously playful and utilitarian vibe that I think suits the game. If it looks appealing, give it a wishlist :) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1532200/Mars_First_Logistics/

  • New infinite mode! - 24 May 2019

I've added a new infinite mode to the game with its own leaderboard. It might even be more fun than the main game! I've also revamped the sound effects and made the visual prettier. Enjoy!

  • Unknown Pleasures: It s a Mystery - 18 March 2019

Oooh, we’ve got a bit of a “mystery” theme. Between slow burning stories and the rare survival of a… ah, survival game, this week’s selection of Unknown Pleasures is leaving me thoroughly unresolved. Leaving a trail of gross keyboard crumbs this week: space friends, snow lesbians, and evil geometry. (more…)

  • Buy Jumpgrid today, loathe shapes for the rest of your life - 12 February 2019

Right. Let’s skip the quips, and leap directly into why you should buy Jumpgrid . It’s a hyper-alluring shape-dodger vaguely in the vain of Super Hexagon , where death comes fast and respawns come faster. Each level is a three by three grid that somehow still leaves room for varied approaches, drawing on reflex and strategy both. It’s out right now, and only costs 4. (more…)

  • Jumpgrid hops out February 12th - 30 January 2019

Whisper it, but I think Jumpgrid might be almost as good as Super Hexagon . It’s another 2D dodge ’em up, plunging you into a world of murderous patterns and snake-like reflexes. Tap tap tap. Die die die. Try again, again, and again. It’s not out until February 12th, but I played a preview build last night. I’m never going to play Jumpgrid before bed again, but I’m sure as (bullet)hell going to play more today. (more…)
