- I Told Myself I Wasn't Going To Do This... But... - 18 July 2026
Soooooooo.... Honestly wasn't really planning to be in this situation, and certainly not before a 1.0 release of the game, but here we are...The keen-eyed amongst you may have noticed that there hasn't been an update for a few months, and that's because I have been very hard(ish) at work on a shiny new level editor for Lost Marbles! I will go into much of the details here; what's available, and what's still to come, so buckle in and let me take you through it... :)First off, I have to give a massive shout out to one of my favourite game series of all time, the Trials games (Big up Trials Fusion). The editor that I have created for Lost Marbles is heavily inspired by the editor in those game, and if I'm honest, my time editing on Trials is almost 100% responsible for my ability to pick up Unreal Engine and start working on this game. The second thing to note is that the editor is very muc…
- Lost Marbles Content Update - 18 March 2026
Hey Everyone! Its been a little while now since out last update, and for good reason... I have been (somewhat) hard at work improving some core system in the game, as well as continuing the work of producing new levels for you guys to hopefully enjoy. :)With that little intro out of the way, lets discuss each of the new updates!Level Rush ImprovementsThe first update comes in for the Level Rush game mode. The concept has not changed, but the ability to re-order the playlist has been added, as well as the ability to play the levels in a random order. I hope this will add a little more strategy to scoring on the mode, especially on the playlists with a larger number of levels. The playlist order can be set from the Level Rush playlist select screen. Also relating to Level Rush, the "Learning the Ropes" playlist is now playable, and an additional playlist, "Micro Classics", has been added t…
- Lost Marbles Server Maintenance - 30 January 2026
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that on Sunday 1st February, the Lost Marbles servers will being undergoing some essential maintenance which will affect some services on the game, including posting scores to the leaderboards / viewing leaderboards. The game will remain mostly operational, but if you are someone who cares about online scores etc, then if you have trouble connecting, it may be worth waiting until the servers are back up.There is no set time for the maintenance, and also no set length of time that it will take, though I will do my best to try to keep the down-time to a minimum. That's all for this one, Thanks everyone!
- Lost Marbles - 2026 - 4 January 2026
Hey everyone! It's that time of year again, so let me first wish you all a very happy new year!Just like last year, I want to thank everyone who has supported Lost Marbles this past year; from all of the old timers, so any new players that picked up the game in 2025. It really does mean a lot that you guys have chosen to spend your time and hard earned money on my game! So, last year I said that 2025 was the year that we would be leaving Steam Early Access, and well... clearly this wasn't the case... In fact, looking at the list of to-dos from last years post, it actually remains essentially the same... With that being said, I do genuinely believe this time, that 2026 will actually be the year we leave Early Access! Despite the to-do list staying basically the same, a lot of progress has been made on level creation, which is by far the biggest time spend on the list.So lets do a little b…
- Lost Marbles Content Update - 24 December 2025
Hey Everyone!First off, its let me wish all of you a very merry Christmas, or a happy holidays to those of you who don't do Christmas!
- Lost Marbles Content Update - 28 November 2025
Hey again!Going to be honest... I wasn't actually planning an update until sometime in December, but a pretty serious bug was discovered with score attack and level rush. Big shout out to "C_Simpson" for indirectly brining this to my attention by showing up on the leaderboard with 70 million xp and exposing the problem... :D Unfortunately I cant let you keep the xp, but I do appreciate it... ;)The issue is now fixed, and because it was a bit of a rush job due to the seriousness of the bug, I decided to just leave all of the new stuff I had added so far in the game, and make a small update out out if. So along side the fix, You are getting two new levels, plus a few additional levels are moving from the bonus section to the main time trial list. We also have two new seasonal skins to look forward to (Anniversary and Christmas), so lets get into it!*Just as a side note, as this update was…
- Lost Marbles Content Update - 18 October 2025
Howdy! Was starting to feel like it had been a little while since I had dropped a new update, and with Halloween just around the corner, I needed to drop one to update this years festive skin into the game. I decided to include a few of the levels that were ready to go into the mix so that it wasn't just a stealth update for the skin... :)New LevelsAs mentioned, we have 3 new levels dropping in this update; one easy, one intermediate and one hard:Back Through TimeAs the name suggests, the level aims to be a more friendly intro into using the rewind powerup, as I was seeing a number of players struggling with this powerup the first time they encounter it.Biased opinion here, but I was having a lot of fun messing around with some speedrunning on this level, so I hope you guys also enjoy it... :)Island HoppingThis is the intermediate level in the update, and revolves around traversing a num…
- Lost Marbles Content Update - 24 August 2025
Hey!So this one is just going to be a small update. I wasn't planning on releasing anything at the moment, but I finished up a few small features and figured I might as well drop them now. I did also have a new level ready to go, so I included that in todays update also.New LevelAs mentioned, just one level this week, but it is a tough one...On Thin IceAs the name suggests, this level revolves around well... thin ice... The level is fairly linear, and consists of a number of thin slivers of ice in vary formations, making for quite a challenging level. It currently sits at a 12 difficulty, which is the hardest level in the main game levels so far. Also on the topic of levels, "Spiders Web" has been moved to a 10 difficulty (from 9), pushing it into the extreme set of levels. A few other levels have also had some minor tweaks when it comes to medal times.Other new stuffThis updates brings…
- Lost Marbles Content Update - 27 July 2025
Hey Again! This isn't the second half of the tutorial update like I said would be coming in the last update, as I was having a little trouble getting the final missing tutorial level to a standard that I'm happy with. I do have a couple of new levels ready however, and I wanted to get them out to you guys before the Steam Racing Fest started!New LevelsWe have two new levels for you guys in this update; One easy and one hard, and both inspired by levels from Marble Blast Ultra, but with a Lost Marbles twist of course... The levels both bare the same name as their MBU counterpart for now, but this is likely to change once I come up with more appropriate names. If you have any suggestions, let me know! :)Platform PartyAs the name suggests, this level was inspired by the level "Platform Party" from Marble Blast Ultra. Naturally, I didn't just rip the level completely from that game; I added…
- Lost Marbles Content Update - 25 June 2025
Hey Again! My plan was to drop the entire tutorial update before the Steam Summer Sale, but I have been a little busy preparing for a trip lately, so this is going to be a part 1 of a 2 part tutorial update. Don't let that worry you though, because todays update does still include 3 new levels (2 tutorial, and 1 remake), as well as a number of other fixes and improvements.Lets start with the new levels...New LevelsSome of you may have noticed a short while ago that a number of tutorial levels went missing, and the keen-eyes among you will have noticed that they were either moved to a different difficulty within the main time trial levels, or into the bonus levels. I did this because I felt the levels didn't really fit well as tutorial levels any more due to being so old and the game having evolved to the point that they didn't really cover enough of the content to be useful. So naturally,…
- Lost Marbles Content Update! - 5 May 2025
Hey everyone! I wanted to drop this update as over the past couple of months or so a few bugs were found that needed squashing! Also, since it has been a little while now since the last content drop, I decided to include a fresh new level, along with an updated legacy level. The New level is called "No Sine of Life", and may be the largest level in the game so far. I wont bother trying to explain what goes on in the level, and instead, just recommend you guys go try it out for yourselves! You can find the level in the 'hard' difficulty category within the main game time trials.
- Post Update Patch - 3 February 2025

"Cracked Ice" Remix level can now be unlocked Fixed issue with many older remix level replays being unplayable.
- Lost Marbles Content Update! - 31 January 2025
Hey again everyone! This is going to be a little bit of a messy one, so ill do my best to explain what's up. My planned first update of 2025 was going to be a refresh of the tutorial levels in the game. This update would have been releasing around about now, if it wasn't for the fact that I got distracted by a few bugs that, although not super game breaking, were something that I did want to prioritise fixing. I could have delayed the update, but I'm going away for 3 weeks starting the 7th of February, and really wanted to get the fixes into the game before I did, whilst also leaving enough time to fix anything else that may creep up as a result of the update, since I did have to dive pretty deep into some core parts of the game to fix some of the bugs. So what exactly are you getting today? well... You are getting half of the tutorial update, and an overhaul to the Remix levels, as wel…
- Lost Marbles in 2025! - 6 January 2025
First off, let me start by wishing all of you reading this a very happy new year; I want to thank all of you for sticking around with me this far into the development of Lost Marbles. And if we have any new faces reading this, I'm very happy you have chosen to join us, and I hope you will enjoy the game as much as I enjoy developing it! From Early Access to Full Release The purpose of this thread is to share my proposed roadmap for the game in 2025. Looking back at my new year post one year ago, I made the ambitious goal of leaving early access during 2024, and clearly that didn't happen. I underestimated how much I had left to do, and how much spare time I was able to spend doing it. With that being said, I do believe that 2025 will in fact be the year that we leave Early Access for the full release! So... What exactly do we have left in order to transition from EA to full release? Her…
- Lost Marbles Content Update! - v0.3.184 - 25 December 2024
First off, I would like to wish everyone here a very merry Christmas / Happy Holidays! To keep in the spirit of Christmas, I come bearing gifts in the form of two brand new levels. And yes, these levels are NEW new, not remakes or reworks, 100% brand new content, and I cant wait to see the damage you guys can do to them! Lets jump into it! New Levels As mentioned, two brand new levels included in todays update. It was going to be three, but you know how busy this time of year gets, so the third will be coming soon... xD Unrealised Losses - Time Trial This level can be found in the hard set of levels, and as the name suggests, things wont be as simple as they seem. The level is on the longer side of things, as will be the case with most of the new levels coming to the hard/extreme sections, so be sure to explore for those juicy skips. I wont give too much more away, other than to say you…
