• Price Drop! - 15 May 2019

  It has been brought to my attention that, being a new developer, I should be aiming a little lower with the price. So with this new price, $2.99US, I hope that everyone can get a copy and enjoy Bruken! Please look forward to more updates on the way! (Achievements are nearly in! woohoo!) If you own Bruken already and feel that this price drop is unfair on you, please message me and I'll do my best to make things right!

• Tutorial Patch Update - 10/05/2019 - 10 May 2019

  Additions Tutorial level added in this update. The tutorial level is an interactive room that shows you the basics of the controls on TVs that respond to your presence. Practice the examples to get a good understanding of how the controls work in Bruken! Another section allows you to test out the feel of different power levels in game. The more power you have, the faster you go, and the higher you jump! (It's very quiet in there right now, but more sounds should be coming soon!) Small Challange - Get over the walls and outside the room with 80 or less power! Coming up! I am currently working on achievements. (Aaaand struggling haha). But hopefully soon you will be able to look forward to being recognised for your hard efforts and cool moves! Fixes Removed some spikey boi's that weren't supposed to be where they were.

• Patch Notes - 3 May 2019

  Fixes - "Forward Assist" should now be on by default (Please check that it is on for versions used pre-patch) - UI should now be more readable at 1080p. - Holding shift now holds you in position better before launching yourself. This makes more sense as to it's intended purpose. Additions - Option added to remove post processing effects named "Pretty Graphics". This option is there for lower end PC's to remove the blurriness and hopefully improve frame rate.

  Hey Bruken Owners! ***Apologies!*** I must apologise as in my rush to release the game I didn't notice that a rather important setting was made to be off by default in stead of on. You may have found that when playing you would rush towards a ramp and come to a sudden stop. That is not desired behaviour! There is a setting in the options menu called "Forward Assist" which should be turned on (and will be on by default this patch). With forward assist on, the forward direction is "forward" to your character, not where the camera is looking. I did want you to have the option to play both ways but not to have it this way by default. I apologise again for any confusion this may have caused! (Feel free to turn Forward Assist (FA) off if you're having trouble going too fast, or if you want to be more delicate in your movements.
