Ancient Releases On April 4th! (Release Notes, State of Dev #1) — Ancient Steam update #1040087

Ancient's release is just around the corner! After spending over a year in development, it's finally ready for Early Access release! However, before it releases, there are some things we think would be useful to know. 1. Steam Deck Compatibility Currently, there isn't a plan for Steam Deck compatibility, this is because of the fact that to achieve the high-quality graphics, Ancient makes use of Nanite. This leads to Steam Deck incompatibility, in the result of failing to render things, or rendering at very low framerates. This may be revisited at a future date, though. 2. Controller Compatibility The game is designed to support controller, though currently the main menus do not support controller inputs.
