I received a couple crash reports today, both in the same part of the code: when using the Advanced Technology that transforms/polymorphs your ship, the game would just straight-up crash! guaranteed! this was due, in part, to the new achievement code... some variables weren't getting passed around. ANYWAY: thank you guys - whoever you are - who sent in that report! the bug has been fixed! I also fixed a way-more-minor bug: you used to be able to open the inventory menu during the "GAME OVER" sequence. there was nothing you could do would prevent the game over, but it was weird, so... also fixed!
