Hot Fix: Steam Deck is now working! — Super Chipflake Ü: Quest for the Uncooked Schnitzel Steam update #1147032

GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY! We found the reason why the Steam Deck refused to save. It took only 5 hours of our life! The Steam Deck will now save the game correctly. We also added saving when the steam overlay opens. On top of that: We now have a shiny new "exit game" button! That button will also save the game before exiting. On Windows nothing is changed; everything worked before. So this is only relevant for Steam Deck users :) Next up, a global solution for getting stuck in the environment.
