Save States Issue — Grand Soul Story Steam update #1231313

Hello fellow DuPontians! Some sort of error / unintended update seems to have corrupted/made unplayable the save files of some players. I am working hard to resolve this, but unfortunately have not come to a solution yet. If you are having this issue, the magnanimous Francesco Funiati has laid out some steps to restore your file: 1. Create a copy of the folder with all the existing save states (Program Files / Steam / Steamapps / Common / Content / Save) 2. Call it "save - Copy" or whatever, and put it in the same folder where "save" is located 3. This will be your backup 4. After that, start the game 5. The game (for this unknown reason) won't recognize the save states, so you need to start a new game 6.
