Hey Gruelers! Welcome to Sloptember, a month packed with a couple of fun events coming your way! This patch is our “Clean-Up Day” update, aimed at smoothing out rough edges, fixing a few pesky issues, and adding some neat new features. We hope these changes make Gruel even more enjoyable while we cook up the upcoming event later this month. Now, on to the patch notes: Added two new shield items to the shop. Added popup messages to notify you of new journal entries and certain events. Added a new room. Skeletons now have a new idle sound, making them easier to recognize. Battle music has been adjusted so that only 2 songs play at once instead of 4. This should help players with music issues and improve performance. Fixed a framerate-related issue with the Leadhound. The Vampirism seal effect has been increased by 2.5x. The "Almost a Billionaire" achievement now requires 100,000 gold inste...
