This update fixes several issues that could make the game unplayable, and rebuilds the game's visuals from the ground up. If the game felt unresponsive or sluggish before, please give it another try. Critical fixes Fixed the ship not responding to movement input. A visual effect was resetting the ship's position every frame. Fixed the whole game running in slow motion after the first hit. Hit-stop was failing to restore the time scale. Fixed Retry carrying over the previous run's health, XP and upgrades instead of starting fresh. Gameplay Added a brief window of invulnerability after taking a hit, so being surrounded is survivable. The ship now turns into its direction of travel, with engine thrust behind it. Enemies now read clearly against the background, and your ship is no longer hidden underneath the swarm. Level-up pacing rebalanced. Far fewer interruptions during the opening minut...
