Update 1.28 is now live and should be downloading through Steam as we speak. And as usual, we recommend that you complete any ongoing saves that you want to finish in the previous version of the game (1.27.2) before updating. Starting old saves in 1.28 may result in strange results. Also note that with version 1.28 the system requirements have been updated. If you can not meet these updated requirements, then we recommend that you do not buy Golden Century and you should keep your game on version 1.27.2!
