Black Screen Patch + Satellite Balancing — Desktown Steam update #543348

Hello everyone, Some players recently reported that Desktown was appearing without transparency (showing a black background) and becoming unclickable. We’ve released a new patch that should fix this issue. From what we’ve observed, a recent Windows update seems to have broken our transparency system—even affecting previously stable builds, including the demo. After updating the game, the problem should be resolved. If the issue still persists, you can try the following manual fix: Right-click the game in Steam → Manage → Browse local files. Right-click the game’s executable (.exe) → Properties. Open the Compatibility tab. Enable Disable fullscreen optimizations. Restart the game. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
