Save File Issue — We’re Deeply Sorry. — Desktown Steam update #543350

Hey everyone, We want to sincerely apologize for a critical issue in the latest patch that causes save files to be lost. Unfortunately, if you’ve already updated, your previous progress may be unrecoverable. If you haven't update the game, we highly recommend you to go to C:\\Users\\\AppData\\LocalLow\\Deskteam and make a backup of the save files! Right now, the best course of action is to reboot the game and start fresh. We know how frustrating and disappointing this is, and we're truly sorry for the inconvenience. We're working on a fix and will also implement a proper backup system in the next update to prevent something like this from ever happening again.
