Hotfix for Friend Invite Issue Targeted for 6PM EDT — Dungeon Defenders II Steam update #570438

Update 6:57PM EDT: The hotfix is now live! --------------------------------- Update 6:06PM EDT: The game will be down for up to an hour and not the estimated 15 minutes as we previously reported. We expect the game will go back online around 7PM EDT. Stay tuned for more updates. ---------------------------------- Greetings Defenders, We’ve been working all night on a fix to the game invite issue that occurred in our last patch. To recap, we split our matchmaking into three regions (United States, Europe, Oceanic) as a short-term solution to the server issues that happen when we have too many players on at once. For the time being, you will only be able to play with friends within the same region. Sometime next week, we’re planning to allow players to manually change regions so you can play with friends in other regions. In our last patch, we saw that players were unable to invite friends...
