Build 549: Patch Notes — Vanguard: Normandy 1944 Steam update #579739

In this update we have made further changes to Pegasus Bridge to make the map more historically accurate based on newly uncovered photographs. The owner of the Café Picot, Louis Picot, was just like the Gondrée family a resistance member supporting the Allied cause. His story is a sad one though being one of the first French civilians killed by ground forces during the liberation of Europe. On the morning of 6th June he came out from the Café to the sound of gunfire, it's unknown whether he were killed by advancing British paras, or the German troops as they retreated, but he was killed in the crossfire. Shortly after, the Café was stormed by the men of the 6th airborne and used temporarily for the wounded.
