Update Notes for 1-7-25 — Alpha and Iota Steam update #716135

New Content: Added portals! They appear in the access port (tutorial area) as well as several of the TQE (technician qualification exam) puzzles. Added two additional TQE parts, and added more questions to existing TQE parts. You can now see which TQE questions you have already solved at the the entrance gate to each part, and can also choose which question to warp to. Bug Fixes: Fixed issue where waiting longer than a minute between collecting credit tokens during the end credits caused the game to crash. Fixed issue where the player sprite would sometimes be the wrong color when ejecting into hosts on autopilot. Removed the ambient particle system, which was causing significant performance issues even when toggled off. These will be added back in if I can find a way to make them perform better.
