This patch includes: Reduced difficulty in the early game on Easy and Normal difficulty. You will encounter fewer monsters blocking your path prior to having a weapon. You also will get access to the Handgun earlier. Biohazard and higher difficulties have not been changed. Added additional lighting for areas where players typically don't have a flashlight in the very early game. Minor UI improvements and general bug fixes across the game. Upgraded the underlying engine to a new major release.
