Patch Notes: CLASS BALANCE — v1.6.28 — Echoes of Creation: Origin Steam update #743587

Ranger - Ranger damage has been reduced as part of a class balance pass (this took effect July 4). - New Hunter's Perks: Rangers now carry 20% more weight (Pack Mule) and find gem shards 20% more often (Shard Hunter). Full gems remain as rare as everyone else's. - Combat Power calculation has been adjusted — Ranger CP will recover most of the drop from the balance change at your next login. - All accounts with a Ranger were mailed 2 Respec Scrolls as compensation. If you haven't claimed yours, check your mailbox. Swordsman - New: Shield Block. While a shield is equipped, Swordsmen have a 15% chance to block a landed hit, halving its damage. A BLOCK popup shows when it procs, and your BLK chance appears in the HUD and Character panel. - Blocking has a cost: total Dodge is reduced by 20% while a shield is equipped. - Block contributes to Combat Power.
