After the seeds are planted in a gardening bed it will take 24 hours (real time) to grow to a stage where they can be harvested. Gardening beds can be crafted using a gardening shed. A total number of 23 settlements can be build using a basic workshop. After a settlement has been placed it will take 24 hours (real time) to provide resources. Only after all the resources have been collected, the settlement will start producing again.
