Update An update for the Steam client has been released which should prevent the issue of conflicting local and cloud save data described below. Please update your Steam client to the latest version. The original article continues below: Important In the PC version of ELDEN RING, save data is not being saved correctly to the Steam Cloud under certain conditions. When starting up the game, the following error message appears: 'Your local ELDEN RING files conflict with the ones stored in the Steam Cloud.' Check the date and time of each save, then select the saved data you want to keep and complete the synchronization. Note: If you play Elden Ring on only one computer, you almost certainly want to choose Local Files.
