We realized that some Mac users and Linux players have been having issues with getting the voice recognition to work we were kinda stumped on what the problem was but thanks to some community feedback we've realize that it had to do with microphone permissions. On Mac you need to give the game access to your mic and on Linux you have to be on the native steam distro not the snap or flatpack ones due to mic access.
