Phase 1 of modding support - now available in beta branch! — The Exile of Aphrodisia (2023) Steam update #84781

We are currently working on adding in support for 3rd party encounters, afflictions, fates, items, and foods. If you opt into the beta branch, you will now see a new directory in StreamingAssets called mods. The plan is to allow users to paste in folders (such as the current sampleMod) into this directory, and as well as the data is all well-formed, it will be loaded into the game on startup by iterating through each mod folder and parsing in all the json files. We're still relatively early in this process, but if anyone wants to start picking around or reading through the help files in it that we're working on, now's a good chance to start!
