The current version of Unreal engine has a known issue in that a game launched in Steam will not Exit out via the Steam VR Menu in the headset. A fix is on it's way and will be released soon. In the meantime I have added the option to hit Spacebar or ESC to quit. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also applied a roof hatch fix.
