Smooth Sailing update - January 16 — Lord Privateer Steam update #981969

Welcome to the Smooth Sailing update for Lord Privateer! A number of changes have been made to improve the experience here: The game has been split into two separate difficulty modes, arcade and authentic. Authentic bears the attributes of the original build, and arcade introduces a new casual experience with a 3D aiming widget, displayed health bars, and a lesser emphasis on using special shots. A number of new features have been added and reworked, such as an expanded tutorial, a new travel speed for covering open water faster, a new AI spawning system for scaling game difficulty with the player, a new heated shot burn mechanic, and more! The map has received a bit more detailing and open world enemies as well as bosses have received an update to their look.
