  Hello everyone and happy Saturday! First off, we've decided to cut down our updates from every Friday to every other Saturday. We thought this would be less spammy and would allow us to actually show off stuff that takes longer than a week to finish. We know one of our biggest shortcomings has been our animations. That's why we've been taking some time currently to improve them where we can, either with new features or just fixing the various bugs we have. You can see below how we've expanded our locomotion code a little bit to include an aim offset for our characters for Pitch and Yaw and to only rotate the character beyond that offset. We are hoping this will give a more natural and smooth visual when looking around instead of just sliding the character based on the control rotation.   Hey everyone, We're back again with another update! We've been working really hard to get our game in a state we think would be considered presentable for the Steam Next Fest, however, after much consideration and consultation from third parties, we've made the decision to back out of this Steam Next Fest. But there's good news! We're planning on releasing a Steam Playtest instead and this will be playable to you sometime in February! We look forward to playing with you and hearing your thoughts on the game!   Hey everyone - We're back again with another update! This week we've really been focusing on finishing up the final touches for our demo submission which we've now sent over to Steam for review!   We're back again with another update! We're still continuing to bug-fix our game and prepare it for the Steam Next Fest submission before we can get into making and improving any new features. Here's what we've been working on this week: The ranged armour is coming along nicely, although still feels as if we can make some improvements in some areas but it will do for a starting point, we can then focus on making the Wizard robes to complement the magic playstyle We have discovered and fixed some newly discovered issues pertaining to NPC behavior, including one that caused them to get completely stuck from the start of the match, and another where they would be invincible.   Hey guys, this week we've continued polishing the game up for our Steam Next Fest submission. Here are the latest updates: Due to creating a new character model which will enable us to implement character customisation, we have had to redo many items to fit on the new character such as the armor and weapons. We've Improved the AI pathing so that they can spread out more when trying to reach their destination, rather than forming a single line. We started creating new armor options for Ranged and Magic playstyles that fit the new character model. These armor sets will offer unique bonuses and abilities to enhance gameplay for players who prefer these playstyles.   Dev Update #1 - 30th December 2022 It's been another exciting week in the world of Right to Rule. We've been hard at work bringing the game to the next level, and we're excited to share some of the new features and updates with you. First up, we've been filling our new map with content again, adding unique house designs with fully furnished interiors and filling the map with quests, monsters, and all sorts of fun stuff to do. We've also revamped our loot system so it will be easier for us to manage what you're finding when you're stealing from the poor folk of Drakenheim.
