This year the GDWC 2022 Awards Show was taken to Estonia, with the help and support of our friends from Gamedev Estonia. To honor the hosting country of Estonia and celebrate the great local game development scene, GDWC decided to add one more last-minute Award category to the Game Development World Championship 2022: Best Estonian Game! Dark Chess was nominated to be picked as Best Estonian Game at GDWC 2022. Winner was announced yesterday on April 22nd in the GDWC 2022 Awards Show in Tallinn, Estonia. Greetings friends! Full release is coming soon and we're listening closely to your feedback. We understand that the Campaign mode may be challenging, especially for new chess players. To address this, we're introducing three different Campaign difficulty levels in the next week or two. For casual players, we're offering easier campaigns and puzzles. For those who found it too easy, we're adding more difficult challenges, puzzles, and tricks. Our goal is to make sure everyone enjoys the game, regardless of their chess skills. Some of the parts are hidden and will be unveiled as we add more features to the game. Spanish localization is added to the game making it 8 languages in total: English, Russian, Ukrainian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, French and now Spanish.
