Upcoming patch 1.1.0 is currently in beta-testing, this means that it's almost done! Achievements (which is a big part of the patch) will begin showing up on steam but can as of yet not be achieved without acces to the beta. The patch is rather big and includes a lot of new features, the biggest being achievements and controller support. A full changelist will be available on the date of update release. Our beta process will be short and mostly internal. If we dont run into anything major we expect the update to be released during the upcoming week! Best regards! rosmic dev team

- BETA-3.5.0 - 20 November 2019
This will be the final beta-patch of ID-EGO! We are confident that we have captured all major nasty bugs and bugs that had any impact on a normal playthrough. The team have been relentless and spent many a sleepless nights in bugtesting, any final adjustments before release will be part of our release version. We will still continue to release fixes and improvements as necessary after release but we are confident and very excited about the current stage of the game! Fixes and improvements: Slight tweaks to planet level layout to allow large enemies to pass through narrow areas and slight tweaks to render distance of different sized assets. Slight tweaks to the final level and blocking access to earlier parts of the level when using the teleporter to travel to the later parts of the map as it does not play well backwards.
- ID-EGO-3.4.10 - 18 November 2019
Fixes and improvements: An area which was under water was not covered by the water physics and post process volumes Slight tweaks to a sniper tower to grant the enemies better line of sight Slight loadingscreen tweak for boss level to allow map longer to load ID-EGO should now move a bit smoother in the lobby Openable crates in the crane-puzzle now have their hatches highlighted when player is inside range to open them, as well as sounds for opening and dropping items Tweaks to forcefield deactivation widgets to make them a bit easier to click, as well as causing them to notify nearby enemies while ticking down Added some visual effects to last level to accompany the environment ID-EGO logo now plays instead of placeholder text at the end-game credits Fixed a bug which caused one or more movement keys to be locked after a loadingscreen
- BETA-3.4.9 - 17 November 2019
Bug fixes & Improvements Objective at turret boss updated weirdly Turret boss debris now fades gracefully Auto uncrouch have a little higher tolerance Removed several spots where the player could get stuck Enemies that should respawn did not respawn Slight tweak to en enemy character mesh Allowed enemy impact sounds to have higher priority in the sound concurrency stream as they not played often enough due to other sounds overriding them ID-EGO will not be affected by explosions in the last fight which caused him to move into wrong position Corrected a misspelled objective Enemy ragdolls have a shorter lifetime to improve performance Planet level got a few tweaks for sniper line of sight reasons
- BETA-3.4.8 - 17 November 2019
Bug fixes Optimization unintentionally removed some characters from the last last part of the final level, only occured while playing through at least one loading screen. Improvements Enemy projectiles now have effect and sound when missing the player and hitting environment Energy and raygun now have a sound effect when projectile move past the player, humming and emulating a doppler effect Energy rifle projectile now has a sound effect on impact (both player and enemy) Machinegun now have a more pronounced animation when running and aiming
- BETA-3.4.7 - 16 November 2019
Bugfixes Player could damage themselves with energy rifle under certain conditions Objectives was faultily overwritten in changed areas on last level Enemies sometimes did not spawn in lobby One objective did not update properly if player quit the game at a small time interval leaving them stuck when loading the save
- BETA-3.4.6 - 16 November 2019
Fixed a bug in the last level which could cause an event not to initiate and reduced the countdown timer for another event.
- BETA-3.4.5 - 15 November 2019
Small bug fix of a streaming volume in the last level that caused the player to fall out of the map in one area.
- BETA-3.4.4 - 15 November 2019
This is a minor patch fixing some issues with simulated physics assets, we have added physics substepping which allows physics assets to more accurately be simulated even with lower frames. This should minimize the chance of ragdolls and grenades passing through the environment (walls, floors, roofs etc.). Also changed the scale of some teleportation VFX's. Added activation/deactivation sound to flashlight.
- BETA-3.4.3 - 15 November 2019
This is a slightly bigger bugfixing and performance optimizing patch. The biggest changes are that we added another spawn-point in the last level which comes with a new loading-screen as well, it interrupts gameplay a bit but at a safe location and for a great cause. Better FPS! This means that the last level is now 5 parts instead of 4 and that all players who had completed the last level is now set back one step in their save (sorry!). Vortex 1 (the planet) is now visible from the lobby! Objectives that could interrupt the next objective if the player was to quick cant do that anymore as they are cancelled. Lightmaps that were to low resolution for some large props have been increased. Last level have gotten a huge performance improvement-round, partially with a new loading-screen but also with some clever level-streaming. Respawning enemies can only respawn when they are inside a val…
- BETA-3.4.2 - 13 November 2019
A minor patch containing performance improvements, focusing on the debris from destroying mechanical enemies. The debris will now disappear gracefully by fading out after its embers have cooled down and have an overall shorter duration.
