• NPC bug fix A2026.8.21.1 - 21 August 2026

  Free Time Now Requires an Available Chair Another small batch of fixes has been deployed. Recruits have received additional training in doors, chairs and basic scheduling. Patch notes Recruits now check for a free seat before heading to the TV room. Free time should no longer end with half the platoon standing silently in the doorway. Recruits no longer head to the gym, sauna or canteen during the service day, or attempt to enter locked buildings. They have discovered opening hours. Added missing subtitles to announcements about upcoming service and equipment. Other minor bug fixes. Military efficiency has increased by a statistically insignificant amount. Keep marching.

  Sauna Access Restored Good news! Military recreational infrastructure has returned to operational status. The gym and sauna evening should now be completable, asphalt no longer behaves like a sandbox, and footstep effects have received another round of disciplinary action. Patch notes Fixed the gym and sauna evening being impossible to finish. The sauna door remained locked and the bench could not be used. The Defence Forces had successfully created the authentic experience of being ordered to go somewhere you were physically unable to enter. This has now been corrected. Improved footsteps on asphalt. Walking on asphalt no longer throws up brown sand or leaves footprints behind. Asphalt dust particles are also now smaller and darker.   Good news! The garrison is becoming alarmingly functional. We’ve deployed a sizeable batch of performance improvements, world-loading changes, NPC upgrades and bug fixes. The world should load faster, weaker PCs should suffer less, soldiers have developed personalities, and they have finally received formal instruction in the use of showers and toilets. Progress. Major changes The world is now streamed in chunks. This significantly reduces loading times and stuttering while moving around the garrison. Buildings also fade in and out smoothly instead of suddenly materializing before your eyes like they’ve been summoned by the Defence Forces. New graphics quality presets and performance settings.   Good news! The army is slightly less broken. We’ve deployed another batch of fixes and optimizations. NPCs should now spend a little more time following orders and a little less time contemplating the geometry of doorframes. Patch notes Optimized NPC navigation. The troops have received advanced training in walking from Point A to Point B. Fixed a possible softlock during the doctor’s appointment. The military healthcare system may still test your patience, but it should no longer imprison you permanently. Fixed a possible softlock during Office Manners training. • Small patch A2026.6.6.1 - 6 June 2026

  This patch includes a small fix for the later sections of the game where some players got stuck after returning back to barracks from camps since they could not make their beds. Bed making in those situations should now be fixed. Happy mornings!

  Hello there! We are happy to announce a free content update that unlocks weeks 9-12, adds Random Encounters and a Service Pass. Please note that there are no new story elements in this update. We have concluded the story as of week 8 and we're not actively planning to extend it any further. This update purely adds new gameplay content (tasks, items, etc) and fixes a lot of bugs. The character related storylines are still intact. Download the update on Steam and check that the game shows version A2024.06.16.1! In short: - 6 new Random Encounters ("Nakki") - Service Pass ("Palveluspassi") including various new in-game items - Procedurally generated weeks 9-12 (new military drills, shooting exercises, sports exercises, random encounters, lectures etc).   Update A2023.08.21.1 fixes some of the issues that were on the yesterday's update. Fixed player input sometimes being disabled when it shouldn't be. Fixed evening strength calculations on week 8. Fixed looting objects when inventory is full.

  Week 8 and New Game+ game mode have now been unlocked in update A2023.08.20.2! Week 8 is the last week of the basic period. From here we will continue a bit differently towards a full 6 month service. We will give more information soon. There is a known bug in Shooting Practices RK5 and RK6 which sometimes makes the player shoot from outside the shed. We are investigating this. Other than that, the content should work mostly fine. Please Be Patient.

  - Press F to quickly use a selected consumable from your inventory (without opening the Inventory screen). This feature will be useful for maximum performance during various tasks. - Click a consumable item in your inventory and press "Select" to select the item for Quick Access. - Also some bug fixes have been implemented.

  - Added RK-69 Magazine items! You are now required to load magazines and attach them to your RK-69. Drag ammunition on top of the magazine item to load it. Click the magazine to unload ammo. Simple! - Lots of bug fixes, mainly related to week 7.

  This is a hotfix after releasing week 7. The last update caused players to get stuck on holiday events. Player's were also sometimes unable to proceed in one event during week 7.

• Week 7 has been unlocked! - 9 July 2023

  Update A2023.07.09.4 unlocks week 7 meaning that the game is now ready to play until day 50! We've also implemented many bug fixes and gameplay improvements. Sunny mornings!
