• Update Notes for March 1 - 1 March 2021

  In this update, we have fixed some overall bugs for this game. Major Changes Bullets - Bullets now spawn towards the back of the barrel - This will make shooting zombies that are close easier Grabbables - Some objects can now be grabbed. (Only the water bottle for now) - These will be used in the future for certain things... Minor Changes Zombies - Animation speed fixes - Zombie ragdoll velocity should sync better

• New Map: Fortress - 27 February 2021

  Major Changes - New Map (Fortress) - M14 - M9 New Map: Fortress We have finally added another map to this game! This map is named Fortress and it is much larger than the previous maps. Plans for the Next Update We are planning on making buildable weapons and objects in the future which will be used to power certain objects, open doors, or even craft weapons. Achievements We also plan on adding various achievements to the game, which will be much better than the kills achievements! New Weapons In the next few updates, we will be creating a buildable shield and a katana. Lobby We plan on improving the lobby in the future, and hope to add more interesting content to the zombies, such as better animations and more balancing.   Zombie animations and walk speed have been balanced, and should look more realistic now! The zombie network framework has been redone, which should allow for more consistent gameplay!   In this update, we have fixed many of the PC bugs and general connection bugs. Multiplayer should work correctly now!

• Non-VR Support - 14 February 2021

  Zombie Slayer can now be played without a VR headset. We are going to fix several of the bugs included in the non-VR version in the next update, as well as introducing some challenge maps!

• Voice Chat Update - 7 February 2021

  Finally, another game-changing update! In this update, we have finally added voice chatting, which was a much-needed feature. We have also finished the first map and we will be focusing on polishing some of the features now, and adding new content, such as perks, weapons, and maps! Major Changes - Voice chat! You can now talk to your friends in game. - Sound settings: you can change the volume of music, sound fx, and voice chat now - Finished the first map Minor Changes - The pink spheres on weapons are no longer visible - Balanced zombies - The "random weapon" box now requires power Upcoming Changes - Hand animations on weapons will look correct soon - Voice chat will work in the lobby soon - Challenge maps We are now consistently working on this project, so expect updates almost every week.   Major Changes - Other rooms in "Outdoors" map work now! - Zombies will spawn in all of the rooms - The "random box" now only works when the power is turned on Minor Changes - Balanced zombies - Zombie speed is now random, and increases every wave - Zombies will gain health at a lower rate to compensate for their speed increase Fixes - Zombies should no longer disappear for connected players - Zombies will no longer go through barrels in some maps - All doors are now buyable on the first map - The menu will disappear after loading a new level instead of staying in the same position

• Multiplayer Update - 22 September 2020

  We finally fixed multiplayer. Multiplayer should now be much more consistent than before. We also fixed the hand rotations for multiplayer, and we are working on fixing some minor bugs too. Bullets should now fire in the correct direction for every player now! Also, ragdolls were improved in this update and should react better to physdics.

• RPG Update - 7 September 2020

  The RPG has finally been added to this game, and it finally works. Shoot rockets at zombies, and watch their dead bodies fly across the world. We are finally starting to consistently work on our game again, so expect regular updates.
