From the late 1970’s to the early 1990’s, this was one of the genres that dominated the golden age of arcades with classics like “Space Invaders” and “Asteroids”. It includes a large variety of styles, like the chaotic “bullet hell”, in which projectiles are coming from everywhere in different formations, to the “run ’n gun” in which the character is on foot instead of controlling an aircraft. With their experience acquired in hundreds of projects, from short films to feature films and TV series, the Production Sound Mixer Fábio Duarte and Boom Operators Tiago Ruppenthal and Guilherme Cássio made sure that everything was perfectly recorded during the six days of our shooting. This is certainly not new in the history of videogames, but it became an unusual choice in recent decades. A diverse cast of actors with very different backgrounds constitutes the group responsible for freeing humanity from the oppressive forces.
