Hi Guys In this update we add a new minigame called Lawn Ball which is a spectator game It's a game of Blue vs Red and there are 5 lawnmowers on each team, each round counts down 30 seconds and once the score hits 0 if the ball is on the red side then the red team will gain a point but if it's on the blue side then the blue team will gain a point The first team to hit 3 victories, is concluded the winner Also added a prompt to the Lawnmower so you can see how to enter and leave the Lawnmower

Hi Guys This update focuses on the collectables, let's be honest the previous collectables system was a bit rubbish I've completely revamped the entire system, what you do now is go inside the Lawnmower and you can see what your driver sees through the windscreen Now instead of the old collectables, you will find chests and you can open them inside your Lawnmower which unlocks LED colours, mascot decorations and lucky charms to hang from your window You can display the collectables you've earned inside your Lawnmower and choose your favourites As always let me know if you have any issues in the forums and if you are enjoying Grass Cutters Academy, please consider leaving a review on Steam. - Update 12/03/2021 - Wrap Up Warm Update - 12 March 2021
Hi Guys So in this update it adds a chance for it to start snowing, when it snows the map will be covered in a thick blanket of snow. The snow will also dissipate after some time and at the moment it has no impact on your lawnmwers performance You will also notice a new tab in the menu called the Cosmetics tab, here you can purchase cursors that will replace the default one, there's 10 to collect and each cursor costs 250,000 upgrade points More to come soon! Hi guys This update adds a new vermin to the game that is more destructive than the ladybug Termites are appearing in gardens, these vermin will target dropped items like a seeker but instead of granting you rewards it will destroy the drops so these vermin need to be dispatched quickly as they move 3 times faster than ladybirds so left unattended they can cost you dearly, Hunters will automatically target Termites so make sure you have some on your garden, oh and if you think they don't have champion variants, think again! - Update 08/03/2021 - The Upgrade Modules - 8 March 2021
Hi Guys In this update i have added an upgrade that you can craft once the Magnetic Suction Module has been crafted, these are upgrades that will permanently enchance your crafted weapons, chassis and player upgrades I have also changed the icons to colour icons rather than all black and white to make it more eye catching I have also updated the driver based treasure hunting, on the menu screen in the top left you will see how many hidden treasures there are and how many you have found, i've also changed the upgrade points to 500 from hidden treasures I've also started work on a tutorial screen which has been added to the main menu, this is currently a work in progress and more will be added to it on each update Thanks for the support guys! ~Lee

Hi Guys In this update you can craft 2 new uniforms for the driver in the crafting menu The Hardened Leather Suit: Doubles your speed but halves your search radius The Heavy Leather Suit: Halves your speed but doubles your search radius You can pick a suit that best suits your play style, the suits both have an opposite effect As always please let me know if you have any issues in the forums Thanks for the support guys, i really appreciate it ːsquirtyayː ~Lee

- Update 04/03/2021 - The Ejection Update - 4 March 2021
Hi Guys Hope you're doing well This update adds functionality to eject from the lawnmower and control the driver independently If you press Space and then click somewhere, your driver will walk to the marker, you can still purchase automowers etc, they will spawn at the vehicle The driver comes equipped with a special gem detector and each garden will spawn a gem in a random position that can only be seen by the driver when he is within a short radius of it You cannot find the gem whilst in the Lawnmower and the gem is worth 600 upgrade points You can get back in the Lawnmower if you press space when standing next to it Updates: Made it so the player has a cursor to guide him back to the Lawnmower when out of range
- Update 02/03/2021 - Chaingun & Champion Ladybugs - 2 March 2021
Hi Guys This update adds a new craftable weapon, the Pressurised Ballistic Chaingun so you can shred those pesky ladybugs apart but unfortunately as we go into Spring, there has been sightings of larger golden ladybugs with a lot more health It's advisable to take these out quickly as they can quickly reclaim all your gardens hard work The chaingun works beautifully against them!
