In the 90s, for the shy Jake—a gamer and noir novel enthusiast—and his brave friend Lucy, their small hometown holds no future. Seeking new opportunities in the city, Jake begins a romance with Nina, a wealthy and fascinating girl, but one who is also unsettling and full of secrets. Their relationship becomes complicated when Jake suffers from a strange illness—poison, madness, or something even darker? With each episode, he is thrust between two different eras, stripped of his memories, unable to distinguish reality, and feeling as if a faceless destiny is pulling the strings of his fate.
