Hello gamers, growers and smokers! Last devblog was 3 months ago. And I'm sorry for your wait. During this time, the world has changed a lot. Our team is located in Russia, so we felt these changes at the beginning of March. We have lost our main source of income and our plans have changed. During this month we managed to earn some money, but there is one problem. We are still short of funds to support the long-term development of DGS, but we have found a way out of this situation. We are forced to make not a big casual game so we can make some quick money. On June 13, the Steam Next Festl will begin, and we have already registered. By July, we plan to open an LLC outside of Russia and start se…

Edited by Not A Weeb Join us on Discord Hello gamers, growers and smokers! The release date of the game is moved to Q3-4 2022, and we apologize for this. There were difficulties, and therefore our team didn't work as much as we would like. However, the game is in development and we have something to show! Plant We completed the growing mechanics and tried to make it as detailed as possible. Of course, some things don't look or work like they do in real life. This helps to keep the growing process fun and not too difficult for most players. The plant doesn't just get bigger, like in other games, but forms in real time. The condition of each leaf on the plant is taken into account. Each plant is unique because the rate of leaf formation, number of stems, bud size and quality of yield depend on the conditions in which the plant grows. 5 grown bushes 5 ripe bushes Plant requirements depend…

Hello gamers, growers and smokers! Is Halloween celebrated in your country? If not - I hope news about our game will cheer you up! Plot We are working on the plot and already now we have a prototype of the story and the characters who will participate in it. We are trying to remember all the movies, TV shows and games that we have ever seen. In short - the story will take place in a small town, which is divided by several gangs. The main character, trying to survive and find out the truth about the death of his father, finds himself in the thick of things. The outcome of the gang war, the success of the FBI investigation and the fate of the legalization of marijuana in the city will depend on his actions. Characters For now our story has 2 endings and about 10 key characters. While we were thinking about the story, we decided that low poly characters were not very suitable for it. We lo…

Hello gamers, growers and smokers! We haven't done devblogs for a long time, but now, on the "A celebration of upcoming games" on Steam - it was a sin not to do it. The game did not appear on the main page of the celebration but its still ahead. Advertising is a matter of the future. Now we are slowly approaching the demo and it should correspond to the game, so now, in addition to the main mechanics, we devote a lot of time to post processing and graphics in general. Colors, lights and shadows are literally the most important part of a game's look. You can make beautiful models and textures, but if, for example, they are in a poorly lit scene, no one will be able to notice their beauty. Also, at the last moment, we thought that we want more colors, therefore, the action of the game will take place in the fall, when all the nature acquire warm colors. Abandoned factory One of the main l…

Hello growers, smokers and gamers! We have news! Autumn has come, which means that forced conscription into the Russian army begins. A member of our team, Block Icy will go to the army in October. His responsibilities will be transferred to the rest of the team, but the development process of the game will slow down somewhat. In addition, despite this sudden and dire news, I am pleased to inform you that the game is growing. Not so long ago, we decided that the game will definitely have a co-op, and the locations will be slightly larger than we planned earlier. All this in the coupe makes me tell you that the game's release is being pushed to early 2022. It will come later, but bigger, and here's why: Plant growth simulation We are trying to make the plant grow naturally. So that leaves grow from bunches, and the stems are formed gradually. This will allow you not only to shoot cool tim…

Hello growers, smokers and gamers! Once I tried to grow a plant, but it turned out to be just awful. It died quickly. Then I did not know that the plant needs something other than soil from the street and water from the tap. If you want to grow a plant, you need to provide it with favorable conditions. Growing In Grower sim the emphasis will be on growing plants, so now we are paying special attention to everything related to growing. At the moment, we have the following devices needed to grow a quality plant. Lamps of different light spectrum, for all types of plants. Fans, for blowing off plants in wet areas Heaters and air conditioners Air humidifiers, which will come in handy with an air conditioner Devices that automate the work of electronics. In addition, we are working on the "soil". The player will need to monitor the pH of the soil, use several types of fertilizers and provide…

Hello growers, smokers and gamers! We are currently working on creating the basic mechanics of the game in order to create a demo. But for this we still have a lot to do, but today we will tell you about growing, equipment and mall. Growing And so, putting the pot with soil and seeds, we expect to see a plant and for this we need to take into account the following: The plant has requirements for indoor conditions. The life cycle of a plant is divided into several stages (Germination, vegetation, flowering and harvest) and at each stage the plant will have different requirements, for example, at the germination stage, the recommended indoor humidity will be different from that at the flowering stage. In order to grow a good harvest, it is necessary to satisfy absolutely all the requirements of the plant, for example, if the plant lacks moisture from the soil, then it will not grow as lar…
