• Tools of the Trade - 16 October 2026

Every investigation in SIN Unit depends on the equipment you bring with you.The Operations Center gives players access to the tools needed to face the unknown, from devices used to gather evidence to items that help track paranormal activity and survive dangerous encounters. We liked the idea of making preparation part of the experience. Before stepping into a haunted location, you’re not just starting a mission — you’re getting ready for an investigation. That equipment wall is one of the little details that helps support the feeling of being part of a real paranormal unit.Which piece of equipment do you rely on the most when entering a haunted location?

• Inside the Paranormal Operations Center - 26 September 2026

Before every investigation in SIN Unit, the experience begins at the Paranormal Operations Center. This hub was designed to make the game feel like more than just a sequence of missions. We wanted players to feel like they were stepping into the role of an investigator working within a paranormal response organization, preparing for what comes next. From the in-world computer interface to the eerie atmosphere of the base, these details were meant to reinforce the identity of the Special Interdimensional Neutralizer unit and give the menu system a place inside the game’s universe. It’s a small part of the experience, but touches like this helped shape the tone of SIN Unit from the very beginning.Do you remember your first time entering the Operations Center?

• SIN Unit: Ghost Investigation & Removal – A Thank You to Our Players - 2 August 2026

It's been amazing seeing players explore haunted locations, investigate paranormal activity, and experience SIN Unit over the years.Every piece of feedback, bug report, and review helped us grow as developers and taught us valuable lessons that we're carrying into future projects. While SIN Unit is no longer receiving active development, we hope it continues to provide fun ghost-hunting sessions for both new and returning players.Thank you for supporting Black Stairs. We're currently working on our biggest project yet under Intellicialis, and we hope you'll join us again in the future.

• The Fear of Empty Places - 13 May 2026

One thing that inspired S.I.N. Unit was the feeling of entering a place that does not want you there. Not because of loud jumpscares or constant action, but because of silence, abandoned rooms, distant sounds, and the feeling that something is watching without being seen.I’ve always found paranormal investigation horror more interesting when the tension comes from uncertainty. Walking through dark corridors with limited equipment, trying to understand what kind of entity you are dealing with, hearing something nearby but not fully knowing what it is.That atmosphere was a big influence while creating S.I.N. Unit. The idea of investigating hostile locations, gathering evidence, identifying entities, and surviving long enough to leave with the truth. Sometimes the anticipation is worse than the encounter itself.I’ll probably continue sharing more thoughts, small details, screenshots, and ide…
