Today marks the 1 year anniversary of Twofold's release! A year ago today, Twofold released on Steam and itchio after over a decade of development. We've got some goodies for you, some announcements, and some words from some of the developers, so let's get started. First off, Twofold is coming to the Nintendo Switch in the upcoming months! 1.1.1 is live! Nothing fancy this time. After fixing some performance issues, we overlooked a couple scenes when adjusting their scripting. Scenes using the layered diner image (Characters sitting behind the table) have been fixed in areas the assets did not line up properly.
- Patch 1.1 is now Live! - 25 November 2023
Happy patch day! Again. Haha. Okay, I know I said last time it would be the patch to go in the physical games. But we fixed up a few more things: namely, the achievement sync (again) and more typo corrections. It's a short list, but the bump in patch number is sort of a way for us to try and separate the builds from pre-physical and post-physical eras. By the way! If you like the game, please consider leaving us a review. We really love reading everyone's thoughts, and it does help us out quite a bit! Another achievement sync update. This should help users sync progress with Steam copies of the game. Typos, typos, typos. Also corrected a couple sentences that either had erroneous repetition or odd phrasing. The bonus content credits video now contains subtitles.
- Hotfix 1.0.31 and 1.0.32 - 18 November 2023
Hello! We pushed out an update that should fix erroneously granted achievements. Sorry for the trouble! 1.0.31 There's a new file in the game folder that should handle syncing everything up. In case something comes up and you may need additional help, replacing it with a custom fix will be a small matter. As always, feel free to join our Discord or send us an email through [email protected] and we'll take care of it. 1.0.32 Fixed an error with the 1.0.31 build to restore the end-game credits.

It's November already! Next week (and some change) will mark the one month anniversary of Twofold's release. Thank you so much everyone for reading, sharing, and talking about these characters and their stories. We're hopeful this will be the last major polish and touch-up pass of the game so we can get the game built into discs and sent off to everyone who pre-ordered the physical edition! First of all, thank you all so much for the warm reception of Twofold. Below are today's patch notes, and underneath that are the notes for the hotfixes released on Day 1. Patch Notes Save/load pages have been adjusted. A proper input caret is used and a character limit applied when renaming pages. Also, scene names that would extend past the border of the save slot will be cut off with "…" at the end. Persistent font choice is used in more places throughout the game now, such as the History screen. Hi everyone! Elanfest '23 was streamed live today, and with it came a wealth of Twofold news and information! For those who missed the announcements, let's go over everything step-by-step. First off, here's our latest trailer: Twofold is releasing this month! We have a couple dates we're aiming for, and will reveal a finalized day a week or two prior to release.
