Every story includes random and dynamic elements, meaning no two playthroughs will ever be exactly the same. Although HB&P embraces a nostalgic 80s/90s style, we’ve spared you from reading endless blocks of text by keeping the storytelling fast-paced and engaging. THE GAME Here’s where it begins: you, the player, create a character from one of eight available classes and enter a medieval fantasy world. The classes are Warrior, Wizard, Rogue, Bard, Necromancer, Priest, Hunter , and Assassin . This world is made up of stories, each completely replayable thanks to the influence of player decisions, character stats, skills, and items. On top of that, every story includes procedural elements that generate new options, locations, encounters, characters, traps, battles, and random loot—even when you replay the same adventure with the same character! Some stories may also change their plot each time you revisit them, and making different choices will lead to new endings.
