Once all 5 locations are occupied by Terrifying Illusion cards your team will lose the game. They'll start to cause you problems even before that though. Any location with a Terrifying Illusion card will be blocked from investigation, making your quest to find the 10 Altar cards you need to win the game much harder. However, you can use a Flashlight card to send Terrifying Illusions to the discard pile - clearing the way for you to continue your searches. As al…

This spectral Highwayman has returned from beyond the grave to threaten every characters equipped items if even one of your team should encounter him during an investigation. Avoiding this demon is one option, but if you find yourself forced to confront him at least try and do it at a time when your team has the least items to lose possible. - New Demon Reveal - He's the Deadliest Yet! - 19 June 2024
Meet the Necromancer We rate our demons difficulty level by a number of skulls displayed in the top left corner of their card. One skull demons are the easiest to play against, whilst demons with two skulls represent a harder challenge. We've never revealed a three skull demon... until now! Defeating a cultist in Demons isn't easy. A hatchet card is your only tool to dispatch them safely and often you'll find yourself taking a knockdown when encountering them before they go to the discard pile. The Necromancer poses a huge challenge thanks to it's ability to shuffle cultists back into the draw deck. This means the same cultist card can strike against you multiple times. It also means that the longer you take to win, the more likely you are to run into cultists. Destroying the altars you need to triumph has never been so difficult! If that wasn't enough the Necromancer will still hit you…
- New Demon Reveal - This One Is No Joke! - 12 June 2024
Meet The Jester! There's nothing funny about this diabolical court jester! Her card shuffling antics are sure to cause your team some nightmares. Encountering the Jester in game will see all cards at all locations turned face-down and juggled through the air to land at random places. Losing track of cards you've worked hard to reveal can be a big enough problem in DEMONS at the best of times, but the fact that the Jester's ability will also activate when she is revealed by a flashlight search makes this effect even tougher to play around. Of course no DEMONS adversary would be complete without an awesome accompanying jumpscare! Here's a little preview of what to expect... Are you fearless enough to take on the Jester? Join our Discord by clicking the banner below to get involved with our next playtest, which takes place from June 21st to June 24th. Attention Streamers And Viewers! Are y…

- Welcome to DEMONS... - 29 May 2024
What's the deal with DEMONS? DEMONS is a retro co-op horror card game for 1-4 players. It's not every day you come across a 'retro co-op horror card game' on Steam so let's break down exactly what that means! Retro Do you love classic horror films? We do too! DEMONS is heavily inspired by scary movies from the age of VHS tapes and cassette players - everything from the art, to the gameplay, to the soundtrack is designed to immerse you in the feel of those old films. Co-Op Horror If you're reading this, then chances are that you've maybe already had some experience with the co-op horror genre. Perhaps you've played our sister title DEVOUR, or one of the many other games out there that have a team of friends working together to defeat a horrifying supernatural evil? In DEMONS you'll select one of a terrifying array of demons to challenge in a game. Every demon has it's own unique ability…
