• Development Diary #8. Custom music - 16 May 2025

  Hey everyone! In this devlog, I’d love to talk a bit about the music in our game. Right now, there are 56 tracks with a wide range of moods and styles - from chill and cozy to upbeat and energetic. We’re sure you’ll find something you like! But what if you want to listen to your own music while playing? We’ve got you covered! Just drop your favorite tracks into a special music folder, and the next time you launch the game, you’ll see them right inside the in-game music player. Easy and seamless!

• Development Diary #7. Object Recoloring - 8 May 2025

  Hey everyone! The game is getting closer to its planned release in July, and as we enter the final stages of development, I wanted to share one more feature that wasn’t originally planned — the ability to recolor any object in the game to the colors you like. You can enter a special recolor mode and then select the object you want to change. A window will pop up showing all the editable colors for that object, along with palettes to choose any color you like. You can adjust the RGB sliders or simply find a color you like, copy its HEX code, and paste it into the color input field. The same system also works for changing the colors of wallpaper, walls, and floors in your apartment.

• Development Diary #6. Current development status - 2 March 2025

  Hello everyone! I'm glad to announce that Your Personal Chill Apartment has been in active development for the past few months. The project is not abandoned and I plan to release the game in summer 2025. At the moment, the entire visual component of the game has been redesigned, technical aspects have been improved, and many bugs have been fixed. I'm also happy to share new features of the game: the ability to repaint any object in any color you're interested in added a task tracking system while the game is running in the background expanded functionality of the music player with support for playlists and custom tracks And this is far from everything! In the near future, I will try to post here about all innovations and changes in the project!

• Development Diary #5. Construction of the main room - 6 February 2022

  Today I would like to share the construction of a complete room. The game will have several rooms available to the player for furnishing: the main room (bedroom), kitchen and bathroom.   Today I would like to share the progress of work on the updated build mode. There will be 3 types of placeable objects in the game: floor (beds, tables, chairs, etc.), wall-mounted (shelves, paintings, etc.) and decor, which can be placed both on the floor and on other objects, according to type of tables and shelves.
