• Update 1.27 - 5 October 2025

  Small update: Game has been updated to include Unity's latest security patch. Added an additional costume. You can unlock it if you collect at least 32 Hope Bells. Added a sign at the start of the game telling the player how to skip text.

• Big update to Bell Kingdom! - 9 July 2025

  Bell Kingdom update! A whole bunch of new stuff has been added to Bell Kingdom!This update features:Four new levels to explore!The levels include new challenges, minigames and a new boss fight!New costumes feature! Unlock a new costume every time you defeat a boss. (If you've already defeated bosses, you don't need to beat them again, they should be unlocked already)This new content can be accessed from the beach area of the main castle grounds hub area. You can access this content at any point in the game, progress in this new area does not impact main game progress.Additionally, a bunch of smaller bugs have been fixed including:Stomping on the edge of buttons and sliding off them is fixedFixed collision on a couple of stagesThe achievement for defeating a boss with full health was bugged in the final boss encounterSome minor dialogue fixes

• Small bug fix update - 1 April 2023

  A mistake in the last update messed up achievements, this is now fixed. I have also put in a backup system that will activate when you load a file, it will check for any achievements that should have triggered and activate them. This should trigger for all achievements from now on, but if you played the game between the last update and this one all of the achievements should trigger automatically except for the two hidden ones, which you can trigger by completing their conditions again.

• Update notes for 20 March v1.2 - 20 March 2023

  Version 1.2 patch notes, just some small but important updates: Running A few improvements on running including fixing it so that if you are set to manual (press charge/stomp to run) and jump, you have to release the charge/stomp and press it again to stomp, thus preventing automatic stomps when you are trying to run and jump. Some texts One fairy gives a better description of how they are going to help you and the names of characters in one minigame are changed from generic "AI1" and "AI2" to the slightly more creative "Blue" and "Green" players.

• Update notes for 29 October v1.1 - 29 October 2022

  Version 1.1 patch notes, mostly small changes, but one big change to help speed up your ability to explore the worlds of Bell Kingdom! Big change: Dash ability added! The ability to dash has been added. This doesn't impact jumping distance, but allows you to cover ground faster for those larger levels. You can toggle whether you need to hold a button to dash or whether it is automatic if you keep running for a few seconds. This of course made some timed sections easier, so they have been slightly altered to adjust for this. Less big changes: Cam Reset Button! If you press a button the camera will now reset to behind Bell. Menu Options fix There was an inconsistency in the menus where pressing left/right could toggle some options but not others, should now work across all of the options where this is appropriate.
