• Update 1.0.47 (Improvements for Steam Deck) - 24 July 2025

  - Bug fix: Fixed a collision problem in the second floor of the Guest House. Fixed a camera transition bug in the main hall.- Lighting: Improved rendering for the "Low" shadow setting. Greatly improved light quality for the Steam Deck. Hotfix: Fixed an issue with blind monster's pathing in the abandoned floor.

  - Bug fix: Correction of a problem causing Emily's imobilization in Hector's laboratory. - Improved game ergonomy: Auto-aim is now deactivated after killing an enemy to prevent player disorientation when surrounded. Simply press the aim button again to target the nearest enemy. - Widget: Fixed visible outline on lantern icon for OLED display.

  - Improved game ergonomy: * Reduced cooldown between quick turns. * Possibility to return to the aiming position during the transition aiming -> idle / movement animation. * It is no longer necessary to press the aim input again to return to the aiming position after a hit from the boss Christy. * Very slight cooldown reduction between rifle shots. * Having the golden gun in the inventory no longer requires you to collect the basic handgun to access the boiler room at the end of the game. - Bugfix: * It is no longer possible to do quick turn while reloading the rifle. * Fixed an issue with Amber's animation triggering in the tunnel. Hotfix: The zombies cutscene is well triggered if the player enters the boiler room with the golden gun at the end of the game.

The coughing sound can (really) no longer be heard during the end-game cutscene. - Collision: * Improved a collision issue in the passage leading to the mansion's balcony. - Widget: * Fixed a syntax issue in a document for the English version of the game. * Fixed widget display issue for those playing with a 32:9 mod. (The game is not natively compatible in this format.) - Improved game ergonomy: * Added a very short cooldown after reloading to avoid wasting ammo by shooting before return to aiming animation.

  -Bug: Fixed a significant bug that could corrupt the save if the player opened a door while killed by a Berserker. It should now be impossible to interact with a door in this case. - Achievement: Fixed an issue where the achievements “What a strange night” and “Need to rest” would not unlock if the player skipped the ending cutscene.

  - Bug fix: Fixed an issue causing the Cemetery Boss to become completely immobilized. Fixed an issue causing the possibility of being bitten by a zombie that had just been killed by a flask. - Widget: The inventory and pause menu can no longer be opened after being killed by a blind monster.

  Your nightmare begins now! Play as Emily and go through the horror in search of your little sister. What's next for The Mute House? My focus will now be on bug fixing and translation into other languages. For now, Chinese and Spanish are my priorities. Thank you very much for your support. I sincerely hope you enjoy the game.
