• Major Update: Enhanced Customization, Interactions, and Future Plans - 24 March 2025

  Character Selection & Customization: We’ve implemented a new character selection screen with four unique characters—each featuring its own story, playstyle, and Core deck. Players can further tailor their experience by picking 2 bonus cards out of 4, and choosing 1 passive from each of 3 categories (with a total of 7 passives available). • Added equipment and deck management menu! - 10 February 2024

  Now between battles you will be able to edit your deck and also to choose which items you will equip, you will be able to adapt yourself to your current situation, for example if low on HP you may consider to replace one of your current item with more defensive one. This change may sound small but give a lot of freedom and effect a lot of fields in the game. Thanks a lot for following the game progress.

• Additional Layer To The Reward System! - 14 November 2023

  Before And After : Until this change after defeating an enemy you got a list of rewards that may vary, I liked that idea but I had one problem with it, I felt that the character progression was too slow, after considering many alternatives I decided that I want to keep this system but with additional layer above it, so after picking your rewards "choose one" upgrade will appear, you will need to choose between two different upgrades to your character. The idea behind it is that the game allows the player to develop his character faster in an interesting way that leave him every time in another branch of choice without the need to replace the old system that had a lot of advantages that I didn't wanted to give up on them.   Sharing the main changes to Journey To Natsai in the past 4 weeks: Done : - Another improvement to the enemies predictions. - Now there is in-game menu. - Fixed a few bugs. - Added currency to the game. - Added animations for mechanical worm boss. - Added animations for horse and ogre elites. - Sound discovery - my main time consumer this month. - Started to work on the UI concept for the character equipment and deck editing. • Second mile stone has ended - first act and character progression! - 23 July 2023

  Around 3 weeks ago I generated 20 keys to Journey To Natsai for testing and feedbacks purpose, I want to thank everyone who toke part and helped me to know how to keep improve my game. Apart from this here are some of the changes I made since my last update. - Added a boss fight at the end of the act. - Added 2 elite monsters. - Added the ability to create cards that there effect has a chance to happen. - Added some hover effects. - Tile map ordering is now better. - Map can also be scrolled by mouse scroller. - Fixed some tutorial spelling issues. - Added the ability to create movement cards with more then one option. - Fixed a bug that happened when the player killed the monster and died at the same time.   main features that I have worked on in the past three weeks: Done : - Added a basic game tutorial. - Added the ability to make cards or items with different attack targets. - Added BloodLust effect and Blood Lake Cloak item. - Added Added Spiky Pauldron item and HardShell effect. - Added 3 more attacks to the player. - Added missing icons for the current useable effects. - Attack to a fixed hexagon on map will now rotate the character if not in the right direction. - Changed some descriptions. - Changed some cards and items tiers. - Basic balance for the monsters, starting deck and some cards. - Fixed visual bug on the world map.   First of all, I'm very excited to announce that finally I have a trailer for Journey To Natasi! Second as I promised here are the changes from my last announcement: - Better AI for enemies, will still need improvements in the future but overall much better. - Monster without reasonable moves will make valid move even if its not a good one. - Fixed 3 bugs. - Added skill images for some cards. - Improved the animation system to be more generic. - Added basic animations for a lot of cards use. - Added VRX for many cards. - Movement cards can now deal damage. - Added textual feedback when receiving effect for some effects (poison, bleeding and more). - Added textual feedback when receiving damage. - Effects description shows now if pointing at the effect icon. - Changed the way the inspect work on the promo cards. • Current Game Status And What Will Be Included In The Future - 29 March 2023

  Here are some of the main features that already exist in my game: - Basic menu. - Randomly generated world map. - Nine monsters with different decks and natures. - Effect system that can be used as card effect or on items (passives, curses, buffs, status and more). - Battle encounter against monsters. - Basic reward system. - Lose and win mechanic. - Advancing through the world interactions while developing the character and facing stronger monsters. Obviously those are only the big titles and every one of them contains many things but it is still important to me to at least share the general idea.
