  Back on the Wind's Path again with another update!More Quality of Life options to make the game just a little more enjoyable!New Input setting behavior:Nintendo button layout now changes "Accept" to A button and "Cancel" to B button. • Automatic Resolution Scaling - Performance Improvements - 7 March 2026

  What's newThe game now scales to the player's monitor. This will make rendering the game easier on smaller resolutions giving a stable framerate. PC game emulation on Android and low end hardware Did you know you can emulate PC games on Android now? If you're using any low end hardware/small monitors or using an Android handheld gaming device, you should get much better performance now. • Difficulty Settings - 9 December 2025

  I added some difficulty settings into the game. This isn't the normal "Easy Mode" or "Hard Mode" though. In the settings menu under the gameplay settings, there will be options to modify the game. Things like, giving the player a higher jump (making platforming more forgiving), or not allowing dashing/dodging. These settings can be mixed and matched to create personalized challenge runs or to ease the game's difficulty. The harder settings will probably break the game if you turn them all on. And the "assist" settings will make the game more forgiving to people who struggle with the normal game. If you have any ideas for challenge or assist settings please let me know. I'm looking for more options to add to the game.

• Delta Time Implementation - 11 November 2025

  Got a huge update for you!The Wind's Path is now framerate independent!🎉🎉This means no more slow down making the game come to a snail's pace. The Wind's Path was designed around 60fps gameplay. So if you weren't getting that solid 60 before, it won't slow down. Instead, it will become a bit choppier. If you had no slowdown before, this won't be an issue for you at all. The gameplay will be more consistent either way. Steam Deck Refresh Rate CompatibilityIf you want to use the Steam Deck's refresh rate options, this will also allow you to extend battery life while playing at a lower refresh rate.

• Input Buffer - 7 September 2025

  A much needed new feature has been implemented. Input buffering!This will make the game a little more forgiving when handling inputs.If you press the jump, dash or attack buttons a little early, the game will now execute those inputs when allowed.(Thanks again, Tim!)This, along with previous updates, will make the gameplay smoother and be more forgiving on the players.Enjoy the new grace period!PSIf something feels off please let me know.

• Update! Dashing out of attack recovery animation + Performance Improvements - 27 August 2025

  A few updates based on feedback.Now able to dash out of the attack recovery animation. Pressing dash after using the basic attack will let you instantly dash away or towards your target. (Thanks Tim!)1 old save file will be kept alongside the main save and backup files. Just in case you made a mistake and the autosave kicked in before you could quit the game.Fixed Billboard light Placement. The lights align with the billboard again.General performance improvements. HOPING that this makes the game run better and at a locked 60fps (For Steam Deck at the very least).If you're having any issues please let me know.That's all for now!

• Save Backup Update - 24 August 2025

  A couple of updates:The game will now create a backup save file. Safer saving system to mitigate chances of corrupting save file.

• New save system - 14 April 2025

  The saving method has been changed. The game now uses a .sav file instead of .res. This will be reset your game's progression but will make the game less vulnerable to malicious exploits. Please contact me if you have any further issues. Thanks!

  The screenshake was causing lag in the first few calamity rooms. I've taken them out for the time being. The levels shouldn't lag as much now. Please let me know if you are still experiencing issues. Thanks for your time!

• Demo Update! - 14 December 2024

  The Wind’s Path Demo on Steam has been updated with some badly needed fixes. Endless Project Games is still accepting feedback from anyone who plays the demo. So don’t be shy! These fixes include the following: New tutorial - Added a new tutorial to teach players more of the game’s mechanics. Smoother Difficulty - Eased some of the entry levels to ease players into the main game. Increased Attack Range - The basic wind attack has an increased range. This makes attacking enemies slightly safer because the player can attack from farther back now. Updated Capsule Art
