- Chained Together Hotfix Version 1.10.19 - 21 September 2026
Hello Damned Souls. It’s been a few weeks since we returned to hell with our new 2v2 race mode. It’s been amazing to hear all your feedback and see the joy (and chaos) returning to the climb. Today, we’re releasing a small hotfix patch to iron out the kinks and shave any rust on the chains that you have reported... Including returning the mechanics of a certain bouncy apparatus back to its previous form. Yes, that’s right – the Trampoline has been tweaked! Please note that this is the first tweak, with more to follow in a future update based on your feedback, so please keep them coming. Additionally, the “super jump” in 2v2 Race Mode is intended behaviour, but should feel more in tune with what you’d expect. Please see all the fixes in our Patch Notes below: General: Tweaked the trampoline mechanics in relation to how Souls jump individually and as a group to return it to how it once wa…

Everyone has a duo - that one person who you would go to hell and back for (literally.) But how tight is that link? Introducing the 2v2 Race Mode! It's time to find out, fellow damned souls, for a brand-new 2v2 mode is now available in Chained Together! As if the pressure of pixel perfect leaping while being mocked by a lousy imp wasn't enough, now you're pitted against each other to see who can climb the highest in 30 minutes. What's a challenge without style? Alongside this update, two new outfits – the American Inmate Jumpsuit and Medieval Prisoner – have been added, completely free of charge. You need to look the part, after all! Want to show off as you climb? How about a Golden Chain? This chain is available to purchase for all players for £3.49/$3.99/€3.99. But who is creating all of this cool stuff, I hear you ask? Who stoked up the forge and began adding new links to the chain?…

We’ve got a very big update to share with all of you.. A new member has joined the Chained Together party! We’re excited to announce that UK-based publisher Secret Mode will be taking over Chained Together and bringing on a new development partner. As part of this change, Anegar Games will be taking a step back from the game. It’s been an incredible (nearly) 2 years since we launched Chained Together in June 2024 and we’re so thankful to you all for all of your support, but we’ve decided it’s time for us to move on and allow someone else to carry the torch through the dark depths of Hell! So what does this mean for Chained Together? From now on, all Steam announcements will be coming from Secret Mode as they take on the game. They’re currently working with the new development team on a roadmap for content and future updates, so they’ll be sharing more information on that over the coming…
- Sure, why not: The next videogame movie will adapt friendship-ending indie Chained Together - 19 November 2025
I have a feeling that someone, somewhere is trying to get every ounce of value they can out of a prop rental for a set of four comically oversized manacles. That's the only explanation I've landed on for why Chained Together , an ultra-hard co-op platformer about four characters being, well, chained together, is getting a film adaptation. Yet, here we are... Read more.
