Added Unique and Ascendancy effect descriptions to the Warpaint Hut stat panel, allowing you to see your equipped effects at a glance. Changed Increased the inventory pages from 3 to 6. Ability Explosion Effects are now also affected by the Ability Transparency Option to reduce visual clutter. Updated Localization Fixed Achievement “Toxic Relationship” can now be unlocked as intended. Worked on several performance issues to increase fps stability during runs. (I’m still working on more optimization but it should run smoother now) Fixed several crashes regarding Ability Fates, UI and overall Gameplay.
- Patch 1.0.0.r - 11 September 2026
Hardened Save Backus This is an attempt to restore lost progress from players who experienced a sudden progress loss. If there are still valid backup files, progress should be restored now. I'm incredibly sorry for these issues and I hope not too many of you were affected by that. Please keep reporting issues so I can find the root of this problem as quickly as possible! Optimized automatic during-run saves to improve overall performance Fixed an issue with Weapon Infusion resetting your bonus twice, leaving you with a false elemental stat value
- Patch 1.0.0.q - 10 September 2026
Fixed a performance leak causing frame drops the more enemies are on the screen Fixed an issue with the spatial grid causing some abilities to not spawn properly
- Patch 1.0.0.p - 10 September 2026
Fixed more issues regarding the Warpaint system especially regarding failed loadouts and a safe guard that got you stuck in the Warpaint menu when trying to exit. Fresh saves should not have any issues regarding the Warpaints anymore. There might be some issues with older saves that got corrupted by the previous issues that I'm trying to migrate. Please keep reporting issues regarding this topic. Fixed a crash regarding Gungnirs Ability Fates Improved performance when mass pulverizing a greater amount of Warpaints Improved performance for equipping/un-equipping Warpaints
- Patch 1.0.0.o - Inventory Performance fixed and more - 10 September 2026
Fixed performance issues while the Warpaint inventory is open Fixed edge cases where irregular shaped Warpaints could overwrite neighbouring Warpaints (probably the biggest/main cause for disappearing Warpaints, still investigating) Added an NPC that recoveres missing Warpaints (if there were any corrupted saves from earlier patches or any edge cases in the future) Warpaints can now be used in multiple Loadouts again like intended Fixed UI related issues where you could not close tutorial popups when playing with gamepad Working as fast as I can to get this Warpaint issue under control! Thank you for your patience!
- Patch 1.0.0.m - 9 September 2026
Fixes regarding Warpaint issues: This update improves inventory, loadout, crafting, pickup, and Steam Cloud recovery behavior. Additional safeguards now prevent incomplete saves from overwriting valid progress and recover Warpaints whenever possible. I'm incredibly sorry, and I'm deeply disappointed in myself that this problem still exists. Unfortunately I was never able to reproduce this issue on my end so it's very hard for me to pinpoint the exact failure point. But i'm not giving up until this is solved. I’ll continue monitoring player reports closely so please keep reporting any issues regarding this topic.
- Patch 1.0.0.l - 9 September 2026
Hardened Safe Guards for Warpaint Saving Fixed a crash regarding Twitch events Fixed an issue regarding russian localization

- A Huge Update Has Arrived! - 20 July 2026
Fellow Vikings,First things first: thank you for sticking with us throughout Early Access. As many of you probably know by now, whenever we're deep into developing new features and systems, we tend to become a bit quieter. That's simply because we're completely locked in, trying to make the game as good as it can possibly be. Some of you might know the feeling of sitting in your room, surrounded by code, losing track of time while trying to make everyone happy. :DThe good news? We're back with what turned out to be a much bigger update than we originally anticipated. It introduces entirely new build possibilities, expands character customization, and completely overhauls the way status effects work. We're incredibly excited to finally get it into your hands and, even more importantly, see the crazy builds you'll come up with. Here's everything that's new:⚒️ Forge of the AesirThe Forge of…

This mainly affected Fates that react to combat events, kills, status effects, weapon triggers, ability triggers, or per-second updates, including: Blood Frenzy, Viking’s Resolve, Frontline, Berserker’s Fury, Fiery Prowess, Rejuvenating Flame, Static Discharge, Chain Lightning, Shattering Death, Loki’s Gambit, Elemental Harmony, Hand of Blood, Blood Pact, Battle Hardening, and Warrior’s Momentum. Fates that only applied an immediate activation effect were mostly unaffected.

Fellow Vikings!First of all, thank you for your patience. And secondly, no, we have not abandoned the game.
