- Offline Mode made it to Tombstone MMO - 29 May 2026
Offline Mode Update:You may now play the game offline. You can get the update from the launcher like normal from Steam or itch.io. Here's how it works: On the new home screen, you can start a new game, continue a previous one, or load one.There is an option to download your existing account data from our database. This will take you to the original login screen to sign in and download the file to your computer. Back at the main menu you will be able to load and play your character like it was on the live server. The game will continuously download info from the database as long as you remain signed in. If you ever see something is not in sync, you may want to try to login again via the "Download" button.Via Steam, its auto-cloud feature will sync your save files with your Steam account.Any progress you make will only exist on your machine (or Steam auto-cloud), it will not be saved back…
- Tombstone is riding off into the sunset. - 27 April 2026
Howdy gamers, Unfortunately, we have decided to shut down Tombstone. The game will officially go down on May 5. The Discord will remain open, but Tombstone will be delisted from Steam and other storefronts. All servers will be shut down and you will no longer be able to play the game. I hoped to open-source Tombstone, but we have too many third-party assets that we don't have the license to release along with it, and the game is unplayable without them anyway. Sorry! Thank you to everyone who has supported Tombstone in the last three and a half years!
