The most important update is the new support for high refresh-rates, so you can now enjoy doing your favorite yoyo tricks at 120 Hz and higher!Here's the complete list of changes:Adds support for high refresh-rate monitors, together with a new setting to display the current frame-rate as an overlay.Adds functionality to the oracle to reveal diamonds, and also adds a screen making it clear when you've sold them all.Makes it so enemies will continue to drop money when retrying a room.Implements several gameplay improvements to many rooms and bosses, including a new checkpoint during the final boss.Fixes the completion percentage when playing in New Game+.

Adds a new option to oracle Mnelia to reveal unvisited rooms (after beating the game's story). Visiting these rooms is important to reach 100% game completion. Fixes oracle Mnelia failing to reveal missing Badges/Containers under certain circumstances. Improves the interaction between pigeons and popcorn. Makes it so the timer in some timed challenges will respect the Game Speed accessibility setting. Improves Wall-Ride's grip on wall corners when using the Badge that increases its speed. Includes minor gameplay improvements to various rooms.

I’ve had my eye on Pipistrello and the Cursed YoYo for a little while now, ever since it found its way across one of my various social media feeds. I was particularly intrigued because it broke the indie convention of emulating the NES or SNES-era of gaming, and moved into the lesser-adapted early 2000s era—games that emulate the Gamecube or, in this game’s case, Game Boy Advance style. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect with Pipistrello and the Cursed YoYo outside of a game that mashed The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap’s gameplay with Wario Land 4’s visual chonk. Coming in close to launch we want to show off all the (what we think are cool) display options in Pipistrello! We grew up playing Nintendo handheld games and love the experience. Some of us had cracked screens, dead pixels, and who could forget the horrible glare of trying to play back then if there was any sunlight! We thought it’d be fun to bring back some of those experiences in Pipistrello-warts and all! Don’t worry, it’s all optional. Let’s take a look! For starters, you can play the game in its entirety in “handheld/3D Console” mode! And if you’re feeling extra nostalgic, there’s an option to play with the glass screen on.
