• Dimenshift Demo Edition Released! - 19 June 2024

  Dimenshift is a strange game, and without playing it, you might not be sure if it's the kind of game you'd like. So, to give everyone a chance to play Dimenshift (without committing to buying it), there's now a free demo available! This demo plays exactly like the full game, but is limited to just a few levels. With that said, I still wanted to showcase the secrets and exploration in the demo (since these are really important to the full experience), so there's still a good amount of secrets and alternate paths to find. You can give it a try now!

• Steam Deck/Linux Compatibility - 27 April 2024

  If you use a Steam Deck or just Linux in general, you'll be happy to know that Linux support is a priority for Dimenshift. In fact, not only has Dimenshift had Linux support since the beginning, the majority of development for it was done on Linux! Therefore, Dimenshift has a native Linux build. Also, I've always felt that platformers are usually much more comfortable with gamepads than with keyboards. So controller support has been a priority throughout development, too. Between these two facts, it just makes sense to make sure that the game works on the Steam Deck. So, Dimenshift already supports the Steam Deck! In fact, much of the general playtesting was done on my personal Steam Deck, and I have to say that it's probably my favorite way to play the game. • Update 0.XVI.C - 4 April 2024

  Added log to level 9, so now you can actually get all of the logs, heh… Fixed error with logs in levels G, V, and E)V not affecting the indicator on the level map. (Sorry!) If you’re trying to find all of the logs and are stuck, try checking these levels. The % indicator on save files is now more accurate. That takes care of all of the bugs/issues I am aware of. Hopefully this is the last update before launch, but who knows! Maybe some levels will still need to be tweaked.
