Gameplay Changes:Piero's "Casual Performance" musical theme now restores 2% of the player's temperature and hunger every 2 seconds the soundtrack plays.Bugfixes:You can no longer die during the interaction with Piero's stash (definitely). There was a bug with the Terror attack in Night without a model and sound, which is now fixed. Long buildings at the edges of the map no longer disappear from view. Steam Rich Presence now works better. Localization has been added to the tooltip related to Polite's watchMessages about the appearance of Piero and Polite now displayed better.Flat cardboard no longer clips through the terrain after the main character getting up from it.

Initially, modding support was limited to texture changes, but mods can now add new gameplay elements.Travel Terminals ImprovementsThe Travel Terminals added in 0.5.5 received mixed reviews from players, so in this update we've improved them to address the issues you've raised.OtherFixed the bug that allowed the player to enter the restaurant.Old bus-stops have been returned and new ones have been added to emphasize their connection to the terminals.Fixed other minor bugs.

Hello everyone! Long Foreseen here. We haven't published devlogs before, but I felt like it was time to start, at least in blog form(?). For some reason, we've been keeping this fact under wraps, but we're almost done with porting Beneath the Cardboard: Be Happy to Godot Engine 4. As you may know, the game was previously based on Unreal Engine 5, but along the way we encountered numerous bugs, performance issues, and a subjective dislike of the engine's design. It all boiled down to the fact that a port was necessary. Our first step was to start working on our own game engine, Forthfour, which turned out to be a critical mistake: we didn't have the necessary resources or time for it. This might have been a good decision if we had been an established studio, but it turned out to be nothing more than naive perfectionism.
